Creation Grace: Fog and Mist

By Elizabeth Prata

Isn’t it comforting to know that God ordains every single thing that happens, even every droplet in the fog bank rolling over the beach roses at the easternmost point of a nation.

  1. Hi Elizabeth Fog is the weather I miss most from California days. It has no substance, yet it comes all around, sometimes forming a virtual wall. Stops traffic, ominous yet fascinating. Good postJWSent from my iPad

  2. Are you speaking of predetermination? If so, how do we reconcile this with the concept of free will?

    1. As to predetermination, we cannot reconcile His sovereign ordination of everything and everyone, and our free will. Both are taught in scripture. And we do not need to reconcile them, because God has. Our finite minds cannot. But both are true. Example: Judas had total free will to choose to follow Jesus (or not), to choose to steal (or not), choose to betray Him (or not). Yet it was foreordained. John 13:18, John 17:12, and Matthew 26:24.
