Now is not the time for thin skin

PODCAST/AUDIO HERE

Does it seem to you that people are becoming more thin-skinned? I seems that way to me.

Should believers worry? Of course not! All things are possible in Jesus, for does not Romans 12:21 say “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Our ‘skin’ should be as thick as possible, for we have on the inside the Holy Spirit and on the outside the full armor of God. Share Him with as many as possible, so they also can know the peace of the Heavenly Spirit.

Let’s celebrate the renewal of life in His seasons’ turning. I hope you have time for fall pumpkin events, corn mazes, Fall or Harvest Festivals, picnics, or just taking a walk in the cool air once in a while.

John 16:33 says
“These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

And the promises of God are good- note that “Although the general theme of this Psalm may have been suggested by God’s special favor to the Israelites in their restoration from captivity, it must be regarded as an instructive celebration of God’s praise for His merciful providence to all men in their various emergencies” says Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary-

And He has the hungry live there,
So that they may establish an inhabited city,
And sow fields and plant vineyards,
And [b]gather a fruitful harvest.
He also blesses them and they multiply greatly,
And He does not let their cattle decrease.

(Psalm 107:36-38)

Won’t it be wonderful when our Bridegroom emerges from the heavens blazing like the sun to call His bride to Himself? Meanwhile nothing is hidden from Him. Your smallest care and largest tragedy does not escape His notice. Take them to Him, and then find refreshing water and green pastures.
