Iran: "The Coming Is Near" video and transcript

This is a partial transcript of the end time video produced by Iran and the abbreviated version of which was obtained by Reza Kahlili, a spy who had infiltrated the top levels of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. You can read a full transcript here. In a previous post I’d published an analysis of the video and its summary by World Threats analyst Ryan Mauro who also contributes to FrontPage Magazine. Partial transcript begins:
Narrator: “If the signs of his reappearance were not provided by the Prophet and his descendants, it would have been difficult to analyze the timing of his coming.” He goes on to list those signs of the Mahdi’s imminent reappearance:

“The Messiah will not rise until fear, great earthquakes, and sedition takes place.”
“The worse kind of humans will become leaders.” [Here, the video shows President Bush, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Germany’s Angela Merkel…and Obama.]
“Women will rid themselves of the Hejab.” [traditional female head covering]
Adultery will be common, Men will dress like women. Men will content themselves to men and women to women.”

“A nation from the east will rise and prepare the way for the Mahdi.” [Iran sees itself divinely fulfilling that role.]

The narrator says that the Mahdi’s reappearance requires a condition of having strong beliefs and pious leaders with a strong will. In the Hadith, they have been named as ‘Preparers of the Coming’, and will emerge from Yemen, Lebanon, and Iran. In Islam, there are two notable books, the Quran, their version of a holy book, and the Hadith, the book of traditions.

Ayatollah Khameni: “I can tell you with utmost confidence: The promise of Allah for the Coming and the establishment of a new Islamic civilization is on its way.”
When the leader of an enemy nation whose entire purpose on earth is to usher in a new Islamic civilization through any means necessary tells you with ‘utmost confidence that it is on its way, we should be listening!

The next segment examines current events in the Middle East as they are related to their version of end time events. The transformation of certain ME countries is key in the Hadith for the imminent appearance of their messiah, and that transformation is now taking place.

The narrators says that after 9/11, Islam was the only culture or civilization that threatened the West. As a result, the West launched an official program of Islamic fear-mongering and at the same time began dropping hundreds of bombs on innocent Arabs. [Though the video mentions American and its allies, America is shown exclusively as the bomb-droppers]. The narrator claims that America occupied mosques and religious centers. All this, the narrator claims, is the progression of the end times events in preparation for the Mahdi as the land that will be in the center of the conflicts in advance of his coming. But that after the coming, that land will be the capital of his world governance. “At that time the swift will attack, anxiety will be plenty and the world will turn away. Iraq will be conquered and through bloodshed cause divisions in tribes. At that time be ready for the reappearance of the Mahdi messiah!” Here, the video shows a rider on a white horse.

So that was the Muslim doctrine regarding Iraq and its part at the time of the near-arrival of Mahdi. Now to Yemen.

Narrator: “At the threshold of his coming, a holy revolution will take place in that nation.” Hadith. Some even believe that after his coming, the first soldiers of the Mahdi’s army who reach Mecca will be from Yemen.”

The video’s narrator goes on to explain that recently the Shia adherents in Yemen have been oppressed and persecuted but in a display of courage, they pushed back the armies persecuting them. Remember, the two sects in Islam are Shia and Sunni and Shia is the more militant sect. He says that recent events show that Saudi Arabia is part of that Yemeni oppression and that soon Jordan- with the help of US and Israel- sent more troops to aid in the oppression and persecution of Yemeni Shites.

The third nation the Hadith is said to occupy Muslim end time events will be Egypt. The narrator explains that the Hadith says the people in Egypt will rise up against an oppressive leader and create a chaotic atmosphere. The Hadith “predicts” that the leader of Egypt will be killed and the people descend into conflict. The rise of Islamic sects like the Muslim Brotherhood is in accordance with the Hadith “prophesies.” [Note: I enclose predicts and prophecies in quotes to make clear that these are not real prophesies and to distinguish them from real prophesies, which can ONLY be found in the bible.]

He says that all that the Hadith claims that Palestine will be the center of conflict due to sedition of Israel. Imam Ali clearly describes the fate of the Jews during this time: Jews will have come from the west to establish a government in Palestine. [This occurred in 1948.] This will happen because Arabs are not united against them, but are divided. “They asked Imam Ali, will this calamity and mayhem last long?” and Ali answered “No, not until the time that they rid themselves of the influence of others, take back control of their affairs, and once again have strong determination.” [here, they show Arabs carrying shoulder launch missiles in great numbers]. “At that time they will conquer the land of Palestine and be victorious and united.” (The Caliphate) “Then extra forces will arrive from Iraq with flags written on it ‘Alghovah’ written on it..

The video next shows a quote: “With the start of a new war the destruction of Israel is certain.– Nassrollah, Iranian newspaper Kayhan.” and “The annihilation of the Zionist regime and the conquering of Beitol Moghadas (Jerusalem) is one of the most important events in the age of The Coming.” Psalm 83 war, perhaps??

“The Islamic republic of Iran has scores of modernized warships. Hundreds of modernized bombers. Thousand of modernized missiles and millions of willing martyrs forces have turned into one the most powerful forces in the Middle East. After a meeting with the leaders of the Zionist regime, the Joint Chiefs’ of Staff in America announced that in a confrontation with Iran. The option of a military confrontation is no longer possible.” I included this paragraph from the transcript in the post to show how they see us.

“Another key individual in the age of The Coming is called “Yamani” His presence is another sign that the reappearance is close. Some scholars believe that this individual named in the Hadith is “Seyed Hassan Nassrollah. “Seyed Hassan Nassrollah” is from the Shiites of Yemen whose ancestors lived in Yemen and immigrated to Lebanon decades ago.”. [This man currently leads the terrorist militant group, Hezbollah.] And so it is clear: The forces of “Seyed Khorasani” and “Yemani” will coordinate the revolt against evil.”

So I guess they see Yemen playing a huge role.

One of the important signs prior to The Coming is the rise of the impostor, Islamic Antichrist. The impostor has been described in the Hadith as a wicked being who will confront God’s faith. … and the movie goes on to rail against the Freemasons and others who in combination make up a composite being called the Impostor or the Islamic Antichrist. It ends with “Come forth in praising God and with jihad of faith to be part of the governance of the pious on earth. Great joyous news is on its way. I can tell you with utmost confidence; the promise of Allah for The Coming and the establishment of a new Islamic civilization is on its way. Blessing from Allah Victory is near, Good tidings to the believers.”

Make no mistake: there is NOTHING in the book of Koran nor the Hadith that is truth. It is spoken from the devil who is a liar and the father of lies. In viewing the video and reading the transcript, it is important to see how they see us, and what their indicators are for their end time doctrines. Through that, the most important thing I hope you take away from this is how cunning Satan is. He has exactly mirrored the true Revelation of Jesus Christ to His children by perverting it with seeds of evil that closely – but not perfectly – match the seeds of truth from Jesus lips. All satan needed to do is listen to Jesus telling John, or to read it afterward and create a false religion based on it.

All people on this earth are loved by Jesus and that includes Muslims. We need to pray for those who are deceived by satan’s doctrines of the end time. We need to pray for those who are actively pushing satan’s agenda. We need to help those who have converted from a dark religion to the Light, with continued prayer, missions, donations, and love. But do not mistake the religious structure of Islam as friendly. It is an enemy religion to God and its implementation is an abomination to Him.

Do we work as vigorously for Jesus as the Muslims work for satan? Think about it.

Has Israel already attacked Iran?

A nuclear Iran is unthinkable. Yet, we have been thinking it ever since it became obvious that Iran was nearing the tipping point. Their technological capability to enrich uranium, to enrich it again at double speed, to buy and trade uranium from Russia, and their promises to wipe Israel from the map made this nightmare scenario all too real. Nukes in the hands of a crazy puppet (or IS he???) who is directed by crazier Ayatollahs with no hesitation to obliterate Israel means only one thing:

Israel (and the US) must strike Iran before they have the nuke. At least, that is what all the military pundits have been saying, and loudly. In May, Maj. General Paul Vallely was certain that a Mid-East regional war would come this summer. The CIA thought Israel would strike Iran in August, and sent a memo to Obama saying so.

Biblical eschatologists know that the Gog-Magog battle is THE battle that ends the Church Age. It is THE war that brings Israel back into covenant with God. It is THE war that spawns the Covenant that the antichrist makes strong. No matter what happens prior, the very last moment the Church can be on earth is by the end of that battle against Israel by Iran-Russia, Turkey etc.

Therefore, we have all been waiting for the axe to fall. We’ve been looking for Israel to do something, since it seems obvious she is on her own with not even the US on her side. Iran is weeks away from a nuke! When will the bombs fly? When will we see bug-eyed reporters in the hot zone reporting on the latest exchanges between Israel and her enemies? Well, while we were all looking up, we should have been looking at our computers. There’s a worm, and it may have been sent to Iran in just as deadly a package as a missile.

The Stuxnet 99 worm.

Iran Announces Bushehr Power Plant Delays Amid Stuxnet Speculation
“The announcement is raising eyebrows because of news last week that a mysterious and powerful computer worm — called Stuxnet — had infected computers at the atomic plant. Experts say Stuxnet is so sophisticated that only a team of developers supported by a nation state or a very wealthy private group could have created it. That diagnosis has in turn led to speculation that the worm was created specifically to attack Iran’s nuclear program.”

Hmmm, a powerful and sophisticated computer worm is affecting industrial plants, wreaking havoc and causing scientists and geeks from around the world to run about with clipboards. I am sure that War Rooms are being set up, too. This computer worm is so sophisticated it can override internal security measures and destroy from within. Imagine a computer worm that can override a nuke plant’s cooling system. Or a train computer’s switches and tracking overridden. A sewer plant shutting off the cleanup and gushing sewage into fresh water systems instead. Bridge tenders unable to open, or close bridges over waterways. Oil pipelines opened to spew oil in pristine areas, waterways, or cities. The dastardly possibilities are endless.

When Iran first made the announcement that their Bushehr nuclear plant, ready to go online in weeks, was experiencing delays, eyebrows went up. When it came out that the delay was because of a computer virus, then eyebrows really went up. It then came out that though other countries are affected, namely Indonesia and India, Iran was suffering the most infections, with 60% of computers in that nation defeated because of stuxnet malware.

Of course, Iran denied it. Then acknowledged it. But then said it wasn’t so bad.

Iran Acknowledges Stuxnet Worm Infection
“Iran began loading fuel rods into the Bushehr plant in August. At that time, Ali Shirzadian, a spokesman for the country’s atomic agency, said that Bushehr would be connected to the national grid in October or November. Soon after, though, Salehi announced that the fuel rods would be delayed until September, and then September became October. Salehi blamed the delay on the hot weather, saying the rods had to be loaded at night, according to Agence France-Presse. Analysis by security firm Symantec found that that 60 percent of Stuxnet’s attacks occurred in Iran. Last week, Iranian officials confirmed reports that Stuxnet had infected 30,000 computers in the country, including personal computers used by staff at Bushehr, but they said the damage had not been significant. Today Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast shrugged off speculation that Bushehr was badly affected, Sky News reports.
“The first computer virus designed to damage targets in the real world has not hit Iran’s nuclear power plant, the country’s Government has claimed. The Stuxnet worm is the first known malicious software of its kind unleashed by computer hackers and has opened the door to a new era of cyber-warfare.  Experts say it is designed to destroy or sabotage factories, power plants, refineries or other industrial installations.  But Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast denied widespread suggestions the nation’s Bushehe nuclear station had been badly affected.”

Meanwhile, the world is awakening to the very real likelihood that the initial salvos of a de-stabilizing Middle East war may have occurred, quietly, with a whimper.

David Warren at the Ottawa Citizen wrote,

“It would appear that a significant thing has happened — an act of war with extraordinary consequences — without anyone getting visibly upset. Perhaps I am understating: but the cyber worm attack on the Iranian nuclear facility at Bushehr may well have put it out of commission as effectively as any cruise missile strike by the Israeli or U.S. air force.”

Finger pointing at Israel began almost immediately.

Speculation on Israeli involvement in malware computer attack
“The theory among experts is that this “took the resources of a nation-state to create a piece of malware so sophisticated,” Richard Falkenrath of Chertoff Group told Bloomberg this week. It is theoretically possible that the U.S. did this, he said, noting that this was a remote possibility. A more likely creator, he said, was Israel.”

And today it seems that perhaps the worm has been traced to Israel

Stuxnet analysis supports Israel-Iran connection
“Speculation about the Stuxnet work has grown rampant in in the last week, as everyone from computer security experts to political scientists to divinity experts have weighed in on details of the worm, which was first identified in July. The story burst into the popular media after security and industrial control experts – looking at the capabilities and infection statistics from the Stuxnet worm — suggested that it may have been a  targeted attack aimed at Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities, and each day has brought new revelations about the impact of the worm and its possible origins. … Though most of the conversation about Stuxnet is still based on conjecture, O’Murchu said that Symantec’s analysis of Stuxnet’s code for manipulating PLCs on industrial control systems by Siemsen backs up both the speculation that Iran was the intended target and that Israel was the possible source of the virus.”

It is very difficult to know with any surety which nation may have wrought havoc of this kind on another nation. But is Iran crazy enough not to need 100% proof? Could Iran retaliate conventionally? Ynet News out of Israel asks this most pertinent question:

Could Iran retaliate for apparent cyber attack?
Security experts believe Tehran will be reeling from effects of Stuxnet computer worm for a while, but warn it may try to strike back and ‘set in motion a deadly game that catalyses a nuclear program‘

“Iran has limited capacity to retaliate in kind to an apparent cyber attack that infected computers at its sole nuclear power plant, analysts say, but some worry it could seek to hit back by other means. Security experts say they believe the release of the Stuxnet computer worm may have been a state-backed attack on Iran’s nuclear program, most likely originating in the United States or Israel. But they say the truth may never be known. Tehran officials say Stuxnet computer virus infected 30,000 computers in Islamic Republic. Computer experts estimate worm originates from US, Israel, UK France or Germany. Little information is available on how much damage, if any, Iran’s nuclear and wider infrastructure has suffered from Stuxnet — and Tehran will probably never share the full details. Officials said on Sunday the worm had hit staff computers at the Bushehr nuclear power plant but had not affected major systems there. Some analysts believe Iran may be suffering wider sabotage aimed at slowing down its nuclear ambitions, and point to unexplained technical problems that have cut the number of working centrifuges in its uranium enrichment program.”

The times are uncertain, but God holds it all together by His Word and His Will. However, He made promises for certain things to be done by and to Israel which will affect the unbelieving world:

“Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.” (Dan 9:24) Those seventy weeks were paused at the Ascension of Christ, which suspended the Age of Law and brought in the Age of Grace. At some point, the Age of Grace will be fulfilled when the number of Gentiles is brought in (Romans 11:25) and the Age of Law will resume to its promised conclusion. NOW is the time to accept Jesus’ offer of free salvation. That promise expires at the Rapture when the Age of the Law resumes and you are then responsible to maintain your own faith without indwelling aid of the Holy Spirit, in a Time of Jacob’s Trouble that is so bad no flesh would remain alive on earth unless Jesus cut it short. And worse, you will be at risk of the believing the lie, that antichrist is savior and not Jesus, risking eternity in hell forever. I’d take His offer now, if you have not already. Jesus paid your sin-price. He redeemed you from the pit of hell to an eternity of glory and joy, all you need do is ask forgiveness of your sins and make Him your Savior. He is ready for you! Are you ready for HIM? The time draws near, please consider your eternal destiny now.

Iran will begin fueling in three days

Uh-oh. All eyes are in Israel. Just like the bible said we would be in the last days.

Jerusalem Post: Obama won’t hit Iran
Former US ambassador to the UN John Bolton said he didn’t see “any signs whatsoever that President Obama would make the necessary decision” to strike Iran’s nuclear reactor, speaking in an interview with Israel Radio Tuesday. Bolton claimed Israel has only three days to strike before Russia “begins the fueling process for the Bushehr reactor this Friday,” after which any attack would cause radioactive fallout that could reach as far as the waters of the Persian Gulf. In an interview with Fox Business Network earlier Tuesday Bolton had said the deadline was eight days, but he revised it to three in the Israel Radio interview, saying Iran and Russia had announced they would begin fueling on Friday. “It has always been optimal that military force is used before the fuel rods are inserted,” Bolton explained. “That’s what Israel did in Osirak in 1991, and when they attacked the North Korean reactor built in Syria.” Israel bombed the Osirak nuclear reactor in Iraq in 1981, and a Syrian reactor in 2007. However Bolton didn’t see any indication that an Israeli strike was going to happen. “Obviously if Israel were going to do something it wouldn’t exactly be advertising it. But time is short.”

There is grave meaning in those three words that Former Ambassador Bolton used: Time is short. The entire period of the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, or Daniel’s 70th week revolves around Israel. Israel’s struggle to survive. Israel’s persecution. Israel’s battles. We see that the world’s eyes are turning to Israel and it is not liking what they see. Hating it as a matter of fact, both the nation and her people.

We know that the first and second seals are about conquering and about war. Peace is taken from the earth. The entire earth will not know peace until Jesus returns. The very end of the birth pangs Jesus mentioned would indicate imminent Tribulation are full of war: the Psalm 83 war, Damascus destroyed (Isaiah 17:1), the Gog-Magog battle. And then the 70th Week starts and things get really warlike. We have Kings of the North, Kings of the East. Armies marching, battles, wars, death, and more wars.

However it comes about, the Middle East tension is building and when it blows, it will blow sky-high and remain that way until Jesus comes at the final battle: Armageddon.

CIA thinks Israel will strike Iran this month

Interesting discussion about a CIA-and FBI drafted memo to Obama outlining likelihood of Israeli strike against Iran in August. We’ve heard for months that a summer strike is in the works. In May, Maj. General Paul Vallely was certain that a Mid-East regional war would come this summer.

The dark time of nukes

I’ve often used the Ezekiel 39:9 verse to show that the Gog-Magog battle described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 must occur at the start of the Tribulation.

“Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up–the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.”

For the Israelites to burn the weapons as fuel for 7 years, there must be 7 years of time on earth left to burn them. But a question on Jack Kelley’s site made me think more deeply about the verse besides just timing. Here is the exchange:

Q. “I was reading an article on the Bible Prophecy Today website titled, “Israel Considers Nuclear Power.” And as I’m reading, it pops in my head that during the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39 the Lord specifically says the people of Israel will use the weapons of the Horde that will be coming against them and burn them into fuel and for 7 years the energy needs of Israel will be met. Israel has been looking into ways to produce more electricity to meet the country’s growing energy need. Now they use coal, but its not efficient enough. I really think this shows just how in control God is that he not only is going to destroy Israel enemies but at the same time meet this need! What do you think? Am I reaching to much?”

A. “No, I don’t think you’re reaching. And when you stop to think about it, what other source of energy is there that could begin as a weapon and be converted into enough energy to supply the entire nation’s needs for 7 years? I once calculated that in 2002 it would have taken over 120,000 tons of combustible material to meet Israel’s energy needs for one day. It pretty much has to be nuclear.”

This interpretation makes sense to me. The precursors to Iran’s achieving nuclear weapons are astounding. It would not take much to see that Obama’s dragging his feet on sanctions, his hostility toward Israel, and his misplaced friendliness toward the Palestinians would embolden the Iranians enough and give them the window of time to succeed in their nuclear goals. So how close are they?

The Australian reports bluntly:

“US allows Iran its nuclear vision”
“US President Barack Obama has decided to abandon any serious effort to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He is determined instead to live with a nuclear Iran, by containment and, if possible, negotiation. This is the shifting tectonic plate in the Middle East. This is the giant story of the past few weeks which the world has largely missed, distracted by the theatre of the absurd of Obama’s contrived and mock confrontation with Israel over 1600 apartments to be built in three years’ time in a Jewish suburb in East Jerusalem.”

The lack of concerted effort to halt Iran’s nukes in in the face of the facts of the recent advances of “Iran’s missile program, which has no conceivable military use except to carry nuclear weapons, and which can now reach Europe and in due course will have a longer range…” That Iran has likely passed the tipping point and in actuality is near to their goal is widely understood by viewing their very public successes in their nuclear programme. NY Times reported a few days ago that: “Six months after the revelation of a secret nuclear enrichment site in Iran, international inspectors and Western intelligence agencies say they suspect that Tehran is preparing to build more sites in defiance of United Nations demands.” (image source)

Of course they are. They have repeatedly said they are stopping at nothing and that nothing will deter them. They said it again yesterday.

The American Thinker site gives us some more information on that Iranian nuclear scientist who defected to the US: “The Washington Times is reporting this morning that the CIA believes Iran already has the capability to build a bomb if they chose to do so. This was self evident after the Iranians announced they were going to enrich their uranium hex from 4% to 20%. If you can enrich to 20% you can certainly enrich to the 85-90% level necessary to build a bomb.” Of course they can.

What does all this add up to? A few things. First, the nuclear genie, who left the bottle in 1945 but remained tethered to the bottle, has broken loose. The notion of actually using nuclear weapons as a means of fighting nation against nation is now floating about and gaining tenability. The idea no longer engenders the immediate reflex reaction of recoil and repugnance as it has in the past.

Secondly, a close reading of the scriptures shows us that nuclear use will come to pass. Not only do the verses referring to Israel’s burning of the (nuclear) fuel for 7 years as stated above, but Zechariah 14:12 paints a picture of what happens to the human body during a nuke strike: “Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth.” Isaiah 17:1 pronounces that Damascus will cease from being a city, it will be a heap of ruins, no longer recognizable as even being a city. Only nuclear weapons can do that. Isaiah 34:4 shows us “All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll;” and that image is repeated in Rev 6:14 “The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.” This effect actually occurs during a nuclear blast. The continuing force of a nuclear blast wave drives everything away from its super-heated center, with winds up to 400 miles per hour. After a few seconds the winds rush back to fill the partial vacuum left from the blast. And of course, nukes can make the mountains move from their place. Third, things are occurring exactly as the Lord intended and told us ahead of time. What a blessing it is to have a Sovereign God who wants a personal relationship with us! What a blessing that He gave us his Word to study, so we can know these things and take comfort in His promises! There is also something else we can know, and that is that any person who has appealed to Jesus for forgiveness of his sins and repented, claiming Him as Lord and Savior, will NOT BE HERE when the nukes fly.

In due time, the world will be dark, literally dark “The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.” (Is 13:10). No light! The world will be spiritually dark too- “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.” (Amos 8:11) No Light! You can know that you will be part of the blessed Church safely sequestered in heaven during the Tribulation, if you are sorry for your sins and ask Him to forgive. If you have done so, you will receive the Holy Spirit sealed inside you to educate you and guide you on His paths. For now,

“While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.” (John 12:36)

Here a nuke, there a nuke, everywhere a nuke nuke

After a decades-long cessation in the news from the words nuclear, preemptive, nuke, and strike, those words are back in print. Worse, their reappearance conveys hardened military philosophy, discussion, and perhaps use. Knowing prophecy and its revealing that nuclear strikes (likely) occur in the Tribulation, nuclear as a concept-only will remain moot for not much longer. I wrote this week that I believe the bible foretells nuclear exchanges during the Tribulation. One-Fourth of all humans will die within three and a half years. That is over 2 BILLION people. We also know that the Gog-Magog war Russia and Iran are major aggressors. That these countries are both in the news this week with the word “nuclear” attached to them is no surprise. Heavy hearted, nonetheless I offer the following news excerpts:

Russia unveils new nuclear doctrine
“Lowering the threshhold for the use of nuclear weapons, Russia has said it reserves the right to hit back with nukes in case of an aggression, in a new doctrine which may be a veiled warning to China and rising NATO powers.”

U.S. Should Embrace Using Nukes for Nuclear Threat Only, Experts Say
“Perry argued that nonproliferation and disarmament efforts have “stalled or even reversed” in the last decade, noting that Russia and China today are said to be building new nuclear weapons. “North Korea has gone nuclear and Iran is following close in its footsteps,” according to Perry. If those countries develop their own arsenals “I believe we will cross over a nuclear tipping point, greatly increasing the danger of a nuclear catastrophe in the world,” he said.”

The End of Obama’s Vision of a Nuke Free World
“Perhaps the most telling indicator of failed nonproliferation policy on the part of the Obama administration is the fact that there has been no progress on the issue of Iran’s nuclear program.”

Clinton: Iran Nuke Could Trigger Nuclear Arms Race in Middle East
“Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that if Iran acquires a nuclear bomb it could trigger a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, which would create “dangerous” problems in the region.”

I believe the aforementioned tipping point has been reached. The US and other nations underestimate the fervor with which the current Iranian Administration believe that it is their duty to start a war so that the world can be expunged of sinners and thus herald the final Mahdi’s arrival. They believe this Mahdi or Twelfth Imam is the ultimate savior of humankind and is the final Imam of the Twelve Imams over the ages. They believe that this final or Twelfth Imam cannot appear until the war begins. Ahmadinejad has stated before that he feels he is the appointed one to start that war to cause the the Twelfth Imam to arrive. He and the Iranian Clerics including the Supreme Leader Khomeini are firm on this. And there is no motivator like religious fervor, for better or worse. These leaders’ harsh words and actions certainly bear out their intent to create a nuclear materiel. For them in their mindset, having materiel without using it is no good to a country intent on bringing their savior to earth through horrific war. They will use it, they have said so over and over.

It is to earth’s peril that on this point at least, we fail to take them at their word.

Iran is a nuclear nation

The most important news of the day has got to be Iran’s announcement that they are now a nuclear state. I don’t know why this surprises the power-brokers, it has been widely touted that Iran would have a nuke by 2010. It’s now 2010. You do the math, lol. I wonder what Israel will do?!

I believe the bible foretells nuclear war. In Isaiah 17:1 it says “An Oracle concerning Damascus: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.” Only nukes could obliterate a city thoroughly enough for the city to be uninhabitable and unrecognizable. Even the massive and continual German bombing of London in WWII didn’t raze the city.

The nuclear issue is hugely important. Though nukes have only been used twice since their invention (Hiroshima and Nagasaki) I believe the bible foretells their use in quantity during the Tribulation. There are many verses that could be interpreted that way, but here are a few:

In Matthew 24:29 it states “The sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky.” Joel 3:14-15 and Mark 13:24 say the same. Nuclear winter effects are similar. When Mt. Tambora erupted in 1815 it produced a volcanic winter known as “Eighteen Hundred and froze to death” (1816). Severe summer climate abnormalities destroyed crops in Northern Europe, the Northeastern United States and eastern Canada. Famine was the result. Sunsets were spectacular, brown and red snow fell all over the globe, the skies were dark and the cold persisted for two years. That was just one eruption. Imagine the effects on a globe where nukes are falling in number.

Revelation 6:15 – “Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.” Why do they hide in caves in mountains? To shield themselves from the effects of nuclear blasts and fallout? Otherwise they would hide in homes and buildings, no? Mount Weather is the underground bunker to which the President and Congress is evacuated in the event of an emergency, such as when copters flew them to the facility on 9/11. Also, Cheyenne Mountain is another cave-like bunker facility to which the military would continue operations in case of nuclear exchanges.

Rev 6:14 “And the sky receded as a scroll…” this effect actually occurs during a nuclear blast. The continuing force of a nuclear blast wave drives everything away from its super-heated center, with winds up to 400 miles per hour. After a few seconds the winds rush back to fill the partial vacuum left from the blast.

Rev. 9:18 “A third part of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur.” Sulfur also known as brimstone, is a by-product smell of bitter fallout.

Revelation 8:7 we see that “A third of trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.” Joel 2:30 says, “I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.”

Revelation 8:10-11 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Zech 14:12 “Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth.” John Hagee mentioned that this scenario is a perfect example of the effects of a nuclear blast on the human body.

It seems likely that nukes will be used liberally during the Tribulation…pray now to receive Jesus as savior and forgiver of your sins, and you will dine with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb rather than hide in caves shivering from nuclear winter.

Prophecy note: The rise of Iran, Russia, and China in these articles below coincides with the players that the book of Revelation says will be belligerent, powerful war-mongers in the Tribulation. Iran and Russia being the leaders of the Gog-Magog war and China being the land of the Kings of the East (Rev 16:12) mounting a 200 million man army.

President Ahmadinejad declares Iran a nuclear state
Iran is now a nuclear state, President Ahmadinejad told a huge rally of supporters on the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that Iran had produced a first batch of uranium enriched to a level of 20 percent and that it was capable of achieving much higher levels of purity – up to 80 per cent.

Iran: Destroy Israel if it strikes
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Syrian President Bashar Assad that Israel “must be resisted” and finished off “once and for all” if it launches a military operation in the Middle East, Reuters cited an Iranian report on Thursday.

China threatens to dump US Treasuries over Taiwan arms sale
Majors General Zhu Chenghu and Luo Yuan and Colonel Ke Chungqio of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army were quoted in an official Chinese publication calling for the Chinese government to retaliate against the United States economically for the recent decision to sell $6.4 billion of arms to Taiwan. China has already announced unspecified sanctions against U.S. companies that participate in the sale.

Twitter diplomacy: Envoy says Russia will ‘kick ass’ of US
Russia’s ambassador to NATO said Wednesday in a post on his Twitter feed that the proverbial Russian bear would “kick the ass” of the United States and its allies if cornered by a new US missile shield.

Nations are rising, as the bible said they would be!

The punch heard round the world?

Iran is a huge end times player in prophecy: Persia is prophesied to surprise attack Israel in the last days in a coalition of nations that seem as though they will prevail. At the time Persia/Iran attacks, Israel is surprised because ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’—  to take plunder and to take booty…” (Ez 38:11-12.) At the time of the propesuied attack, Israel is dwelling securely. Israel is not dwelling securely at this moment in time, but the point is, Persia/Iran is shown to be sneaky and belligerent in their hatred against Israel. They will attack.

That prophesied dastardly belligerence is on display now. On Feb. 1st, Iranian President Achmadinejad said that Iran is prepared to deliver a “telling blow” to the Western arrogant powers. He did not elaborate. Today, a new statement of the same kind: this time from the Muslim Clerical Supreme leader, who said “Iran anniversary ‘punch’ will stun West: Khamenei” “Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a “punch” that will stun world powers during this week’s 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.” Khameni did not elaborate. “The Iranian nation, with its unity and God’s grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned,” Khamenei, who is also Iran’s commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel.”

This threat comes at the time when Iran again rejected Western pressure to cooperate in the nuclear issue and instead defiantly said they would ramp up their uranium enrichment to 20%. And for the first time in many decades the heated exchanges between Lebanon/Syria and Israel were pointed and nearing a flashpoint. Todd Strandberg at Rapture Ready said, “I’ve been following prophecy for thirty years, and I’ve never seen a time when so many hostile statements have been made between Israel and Syria.”

Things are very tense. With the prophecies of the Isaiah 17:1 statement of Damascus being destroyed and the Psalm 83 war looming, praying for peace right about now seems like a good idea…
